Halfmoon Betta

Now I bet you've never seen betta fish like this. It has very wide fins and red blue yet transparent combination. If only those fins and tail were shaped a little bit more round would this fish be the most beautiful halfmoon betta in the world.

Curly Fins Crowntail Betta (Cupang Serit Keriting)

This betta fish has long curly fins and beautiful coloration, ranging from red to violet. This is one of Sinyo's best collection. Enjoy!

Grey Red Halfmoon Betta (Cupang Merah Abu-abu)

Did you know? Male and female Bettas should not be kept together except for an hour or two in a fish bowl or small aquarium, while they spawn. And also, Female Bettas can be kept together in one aquarium. Now for those females, they might get attracted by this one handsome fella right here.

Transparent Gold Halfmoon Betta

Hi all. Just dropping by to say Hi and to introduce you to our newest collection. Your comments will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

All Red Halfmoon Betta (Cupang Halfmoon Merah)

Having enough of crowtail bettas yet? Then check this out!

It's an all red halfmoon betta fish. Compared to the other collection, this fish is rather ordinary. But hey, if you have an all red crowntail betta, then you gotta have this all red halfmoon. It's like collector's edition. :D

Black Crowntail Betta Fish (Cupang Serit Hitam)

Now I've seen a lot of black crowntail betta fish on the net via google. Everytime I searched for crowntail betta, I always ended up seeing those black crowntail bettas. But guess what, I got one too, and I'm posting it here to show them that theirs are good, and mine's better. Hope google will crawl this page fast enough to make this betta fish right here come up to the top of the search page.

Really, this betta fish here is as good as it can be. See its tail. You will see not only it forms a great shape of a crown, but also made of lots of twin points (it's those small tails that formed the whole tail as a crown. I don't know what the right word is, so I use "point"). Next I will post a crowntail betta fish that made of not only twin lines, but three lines on some roots.

Betta Fish that's called Plakat (Plakad)

Meet our new friend, Mister Plakat. As you can see, this Betta fish has different shape. Though it has halfmoon shape on its tail, but the range is rather narrow. The range of the fins is narrow too. Plakats are known to be the most fierceful fighter, and when they start to fight they will stop at nothing. This means you have to choose Plakat when you want to make your betta fish fight and put your money on it. Always put your money on strongest fish. May the best Plakat fighter wins.

But wait, this blog is not dedicated to killer fish or dead fish! No Brother, it is dedicated to ornamental betta fish. Gorgeousness, it's what it's all about. Plakat, while you know it as a strong fighter, also has beautiful side. This one, for example, is a very cute plakat. Its small white fins wiggle around rapidly as it try to float in the aquarium. And the halfmoon tail is just round and perfect. The color is what we call dice-color, makes it even more unique than other plakats.

Red Crowntail Betta Fish (Serit Merah)

It's the devil (fish) himself! This red crown tail betta fish is just splendid! Well, it's not as nasty as it looks. It has a rather calm movement. When we face him to another betta fish (in another aquarium, of course), it opens its fin and tail as wide as it can get (see the picture) and just stop moving, only to stare to its enemy. Will he win if we put him into a fight with another betta? We don't know. Curious, but we won't let the curiousity destroy our lovely fishes.

In my country, we call this crown tail betta as "Serit", meaning a comb. Yeah, when you people from the west think that its fins and tail look like a crown, we think it looks like a comb.

Yellow-tied Blue Betta Fish (Cupang Serit Biru Berdasi Kuning)

Well, what do you think? Lots of people here like this betta fish and would like to buy it for a good price. The spread of its fins and tail make him move gracefully. It grows up to 7 centimeters, and I think it has reached its maximum size. What makes this fish even more attractive is its yellow tie. The color combination is unique. Sorry about the lens flare on the picture (it's really hard to take cupang picture, because it always moves around, and not to mention it has to be inside an aquarium), the glass of the aquarium gave it away.

So, this cupang (betta fish) is one of Sinyo's favorite, and we're happy to present it to you via this blog. Wait for our next update. Do comment if you have time. :)

A Beautiful Halfmoon Betta "Cupang" Fish

Ain't this a real beaut? I took a picture of this betta fish early in the morning, so that the sunlight can reach the fish tank from side. Its halfmoon tail has 10 white stripes, covered by red, then transparent black. We named it the Lady Killer. Please don't ask why. It just came out of nowhere.

Betta Fish with Red-White Fin

This betta fish came with the bat-like-fish. It's a very healthy fish. This fish is kinda special because of the fin's color, red-white, the color of our country's flag. We're still looking for the full red-white betta fish (not only its fin, but also its body). If we get one, we'll post it right here. Happy betta fish!

A Halfmoon Betta Fish That Shines (Cupang Halfmoon Biru Terang)

Long time no see. It's been a while since my last post, and I've been busy doing stuffs, but I've taken photos of sinyo's cupang (Indonesian) or betta fishes, and I have to tell you, he got a lot of cool looking bettas. This one, for example, is a normal half-moon and 4 months old betta, but the combination of the color makes this fish looks even prettier. It shines whenever sunlight touch it. I haven't named it yet, maybe one of you can give me an idea?

Blueshine fish... or...

The Real Turquoise Betta Fish!

Now I've seen a lot of betta fish that people call turquoise-something-fish. I see those fish indeed have the color of turquoise. But then I found this really cool fish that has the color of a real turquoise stone. And it also has hey-this-is-my-area attitude towards other fish. Not dashing around, just staying calm with its fins wide opened and its eyes right on the target. And so we have a name for him: The Cool Brother.

Betta Fish with Air Jordan's Color!

See this one is my favorite. The betta fish has cool color combination and it's very aggressive! Because of its color, this betta fish here is named Air Jordan!

Betta Fish Betta Fish Betta Fish! Kame Hame Ha!

A betta fish that has the color of Son Goku's outfit, the infamous saiyan from earth in Dragon Ball. So, we named it Son Goku!

Betta Fish called The Tropical Rainbow

This betta fish right here is the double tail type. In bahasa we also call it double tail, but we have another name, and it's "Cagak". Now I happen to fall in love with its color, just like a fading rainbow in the afternoon. So I asked Sinyo what if we called it "The Tropical Rainbow"?

Well, he seems to like the nickname. I came up with another nickname "Splendid Splendens" but I think it was too much.

Wait till I post a very cool betta here, with a very cool nickname too!

Crowntail Betta a.k.a. Cupang Serit

Now these are Sinyo's new collection. As you may already know, this type of betta fish is crowntail, or perhaps in bahasa we call it Cupang Serit. What do you think?

A Betta Fish Named Paradoxically

Now Sinyo called this Betta Fish here The Blue Demon, while I call it Putri Biru, an Indonesian name meaning The Blue Princess. It's weird having two very different name come from the same betta fish. Well, what do you think?

Betta Fish Called Bat-a-Fish

Now this betta fish is very cool. It has fins with color and shape of a bat. It's not a betta fish anymore. No Sir, it's not. It is now called The Batfish!

From today on, I will post regularly the coolest collection of my neighbour (he collects betta fish and with his permission I'm publishing it on the internet) and see if we have good feedback.
